1. The FLUORESCENT INDICATOR TUBE DRIVER(IC501) outputs signal for the 
FLUORESCENT INDICATOR TUBE(ND501) to operate by the control signal from 
the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002).
2. Voltage required for the FLUORESCENT INDICATOR TUBE operation is supplied

from the DC/DC CONVERTER(T501).
3. The LED lights up by the signals from the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002) and the 
FLUORESCENT INDICATOR TUBE DRIVER(IC501).
(Note) How to check if it started properly.
When the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002) boots up properly, “DEMO” will be 
indicated on the display of the main unit. If “DEMO” is not displayed, you need to 
check the power input signal to the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002).

1. When AC power supplies voltage to the SUB POWER TRANSFORMAER(T903),  
FAN14V output signal is output. This signal is input  to the FAN 
DRIVE(Q3000,Q3002) and then the DC FAN(FAN3001) starts spinning at low 
speed.
2. When the SUB WOOFER outputs in high volume, the signal is input to the FAN 
DRIVE(Q3000,Q3002) and the DC FAN(FAN3001) starts spinning at high 
speed.(Refer to P.18)

If the DC FAN dose not spin, the temperature inside the unit will increase. This 
may cause the unit to stop operating along with the display “Protector” on the 
FLUORESCENT INDICATOR TUBE.

When AC cord is pulled out, AC and DC voltage for the SYSTEM CONTROL 
decrease.
2.
The SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002 20pin) detects and outputs this decrease of 
the DC voltage.

When the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002 20pin) detects AC_CUT signal, it enters 
to shut-down operation and saves the backup data in IC. The data such as tuner 
setting, sound field, volume and speaker settings are stored as backups.
