1. To use the AUTO CALIBRATION function for speaker output optimization, 
connect the CARIBRATION MIC, which is included in the package, to J201. The 
MTK IC(IC1101) will output the audio signal to the AMP circuit and the SPEAKER 
outputs the test audio sound. The connected MIC picks up this audio sound and

A.CAL MIC audio signal will be input.
2. The PLUG_DET terminal  of the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002 65pin) detects the 
connection of the A.CAL MIC terminal(J201), and when the MIC is not connected 
an error indication will be displayed.
3. The A.CAL MIC audio signal is amplified by the LINE AMP(IC202), and then input 
to the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002 92pin) though the MIC AMP(IC203).

4. The SYSTEM CONTROL performs A/D conversions for the MIC level input signal 
inside the IC, and calculates the optimum speaker setting level.
5. While the MIC terminal is being used as the AUDIO IN_4 input terminal for 
portable audio sources, the PLUG_DET terminal and MONO_ST_DET terminal of 
the SYSTEM CONTROL(IC5002 65,90pin) perform MONO or STEREO detection 
of the input of the AUDIO IN 4
of the input of the AUDIO IN_4.
6. The analog audio signal will be output to the S-MASTER PROCESSOR(IC3001 
69pin) through the LINE AMP(IC202).
7. The S-MASTER PROCESSOR(IC3001) converts signals to digital, and outputs 
the digital audio signal to the AMP circuit of specified channel. After this step, the 
operation is as same as described in disc playback operation.(See 4-2).

1. The received signals are turned by control signals from the SYSTEM CONTROL.
2. FM signal input from antenna is converted to analog audio by the FM 
RECEIVER(IC101).

5. The analog signal input from the AUDIO IN terminal will be input to the S-
MASTER PROCESSOR(IC3001). After this step, the operation is as same as 4.

1. Optical audio output is input to the DIR(IC6001 1pin) from the OPTICAL 
RECEIVER(IC6002 2pin).
2. The DIR(IC6001) decodes optional audio signal, and then outputs serial audio 
data to the MTK IC(IC1101 52pin).

3. The digital audio signal input to the MTK IC will be output to AMP circuit as same 
as the disc playback signal.(See 4-1)
(Note)  If unable to output the optical audio signal from the TV when connecting the 
HDMI terminal of non-ARC-compliant TV.
Set the [AUDIO RETURN CNANNEL] of [HDMI SETUP] to [OFF] in configuration 
of the main unit.
