Checklist:
1) Is “INPUT SOURCE” button 
 on the remote control set up correctly? 
• • • Set it as “EXT1” with the INPUT SOURCE button on the remote 
control.
2) Is MENU-Picture-Backlight/Contrast/Brightness set to “MIN”? 
• • • Set it to an appropriate level.
3) Check the connection to the external device 
• • • Connect it correctly according to the operation manual of external device.
                                            
Is Y/C signal sent to pins (20) and  (15) of SCART1 (SC501) ?  
NO
Check external connection, input  setting, SCART1 (SC501) and  
peripheral circuits.

Is Y/C signal (Y1/C1) sent to  pins (W1) and (N1) of IC801 (DVP-
M2)?

Check IC508(SW), IC507(SW), connector SC1203 (14)(16)pin, 
connector P502 (14)(16)pin and peripheral  circuits.

MITTER), short circuits and peripheral circuits.
