Setting

Function (Purpose) Used to adjust the sensitivity of the devel-

oper adjustment sensor and the toner den-
sity sensor.
(This setting is executed when developer
together with the toner density sensor or
developer together with the developing unit
is replaced.) (Automatic adjustment)

Process (Developing section)

Operation/Procedure
1)

Press [EXECUTE] key.

2)

After stopping the developing motor, the reference toner den-
sity control level and the toner density sensitivity adjustment
value are set. 

(Note1)
If the above operation is interrupted in mid-course, the reference
toner density control level and the toner density sensitivity adjust-
ment value are not set. 
(Note2)
If the error code EE-EL or EE-EF is displayed, it means the refer-
ence toner density control level and the toner density sensitivity
adjustment value are not set properly.
