1)

Remove the vertical feed unit. (see A.)

2)

Remove:
[A] 5th Relay sensor (screw x 1, connector x 1)
[B] 5th Transport sensor (screw x 1, connector x 1)

• Remove the vertical feed unit. (see A.)
[A] 6th Relay sensor (screw x 1, connector x 1)
[B] 6th Transport sensor (screw x 1, connector x 1)

• Remove the rear covers. (see 2.)
[A] Main control board (screw x 6, Standoffs x 2, connector x All).

Paper Height Sensors
Remove:
• Rear left cover. (see 2.)
[A] Paper height sensor unit (screw x 2, connector x 4).
[B] Clamp bracket (screw x 2)
[C] Paper height sensors (x 4) (Hooks x 2 each)
Paper Width Sensors
• Rear left cover. (see 2.)
[D] Paper width sensor unit (screw x 2, connector x 3)
[E] Paper width sensors (x 3) (Hooks x 2 each)

Normally the side registration of the image can be adjusted in the
SP mode.
If the punch hole positions are not aligned from a particular feed
station, however, you can manually adjust the side registration by
changing the tray cover position for that tray, and then adjust the
side registration of the image.
1)

Pull out the tray.

2)

Change the screw positions [A] at both the right and left sides
as shown.

NOTE: Adjustment range: 0 

± 2.0 mm adjustment step: 1.0 mm/

Image Position Sensor
• Disconnect the LCT from the copier.
[A] Image position sensor unit (screw x 2, connector x 1)
[B] Stopper (screw x 1)
[C] Image position sensor
• After replacing the image position sensor do the procedure for

image position sensor adjustment. (see 12.)

Image Position Sensor Board
• Disconnect the LCT from the copier.
[D] Cover (screw x 2, clamp x 2)
[E] Image position sensor board (screw x 2, connector x 2, clamp x
2)

Remove the lower-stage cassette. (6 screws)

Remove the rear cabinet. (6 screws)

Remove the interface harness plate (2 screws), and remove
the harness.

4)

Install two heaters with two screws fro each of them.

Attach the clamp.

5)

Install a new interface harness, and insert the connector into
the PWB.
Fix the earth wire of the heater harness with the accessory
washer screw.

Install the heater cover. (3 screws)

Install the rear cabinet, and fix it with the fixing screw.

Fix the harness

with the clamp.

Snap band fixing

Connect the heater

and the harness.
