1. External view
A. Tray
1)
Pull out the tray, and hold and remove it.
B. Side cover
1)
Open the tray.
2)
Remove the screw, and remove the corner cover. Open the
side cover.
3)
Remove the arm, and remove the side cover.
C. Rear cabinet
1)
Open the tray.
2)
Loosen the hand screws on the left and the right sides.
3)
Slide the left cabinet to the front side.

4)
Open the side cover.
5)
Remove the screw. While disengaging the pawl, slide the rear
cabinet to remove.
2. Paper feed section
A. Paper pickup roller
1)
While disengaging the pawl. Remove the paper pickup roller.
B. Separation roller
1)
While disengaging the pawl, remove the separation roller.
C. Paper feed roller
1)
While disengaging the pawl, remove the paper feed roller.

D. Paper feed unit
1)
Open the vertical transport PG unit. Remove the screw, and
remove the paper feed unit.
(1) Paper empty detector
1)
Disconnect the connector, and remove the paper empty detec-
tor.
(2) Upper limit detector
1)
Disengage the pawl, and remove the gear. Remove the paral-
lel pin.
2)
Slide the shaft, and remove the spring pin and the gear.
3)
Remove the shaft. Remove the gear, the holder, and the bear-
ing.
4)
While pulling the lever, remove the holder.
5)
Disconnect the connector, and remove the upper limit detector.
