Service Manual

 

Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and main power
switches off and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.
Make double sure that the data lamp on the operation panel does not
light up or blink when performing installation. 

1)

Turn each adjuster to fix the desk unit.

1)

Put the main unit on the desk unit.

Use man power of four persons or more to lift the main unit.

Place the main unit on the desk unit slowly by fitting the external
lines. Check to insure that the positioning pin on the top of the
desk unit is securely engaged in the positioning groove of the
main unit.

2)

Remove the tray 1 and the tray 2.

Raise the linkage plates on the right and left sides of the front side
of the desk unit, and fix them with the fixing screws included in the
package.

4)

Attach the tray 1 and the tray 2.

5)

Take off the small cover of right and left sides of the main body
rear. And fix them with the fixing screws included in the package.
Return small covers.

1)

Pull out each tray. Turn and remove the fixing material, and
remove the caution sheet.
Attach the removed fixing material to the position shown in the fig-
ure for storage.
Close the cassette which was pulled out.

Before turning on the power, check to insure that the fixing mate-
rial of the tray is disengaged. If the power is turned on without dis-
engaging the fixing material, a trouble may be resulted.

1)

Remove the cover from the rear side of the machine.

2)

Connect the connector.

3)

Separate the base of the cover in nippers.

4)

Attach the cover.

If a connector is removed out of a plastic bag prior to the connection, it
may get caught in the gap between the drawer and main unit. Do not
remove the connector while unpacking the drawer. Remove it when
connecting the connector after installation to main unit. 

*1: These items will be required for desktop installation.

Remove the packed items fixed with a tape as follows.

1)

Rotate each adjuster to fix and secure Desk unit.

1)

 Place packing material (Top packing cushion for four corners) on
the floor and turn the paper drawer upside down.

*NOTE: Turn the paper drawer upside down without removing fix-
ing material. Otherwise, a rotating plate may damage the paper
drawer.

This work must be done by two or more personnel.

2)

Remove all adjusters and casters.

3)

Attach the packed Rubber foot (Packed item No.4) using a Fixing
stepping screws (Packed item No.3). Then attach Bottom sheet
(Packed item No.5) to the holes (at two sections) close to the han-
dle.

*The sheet does not need to be attached on rear holes.

4)

Turn the paper drawer back to original position and install it to
main unit.

1)

Put the main unit on the desk unit.

Use man power of four persons or more to lift the main unit.

Place the main unit on the desk unit slowly by fitting the external
lines. Check to insure that the positioning pin on the top of the
desk unit is securely engaged in the positioning groove of the
main unit.

2)

Remove the tray 1 and the tray 2.

Top packing cushion

Don t remove fixing material.

Remove screws and a caster.

Remove an adjuster.

Attach the sheet covering a hole. 
*Set rounding edge of processed metal as a 
reference.
