Mounting the Scanner Heater
1. Place the heater fixing plate as shown in the figure below, set the scanner dry heater, and then secure

2. Extend the heater harness (tube section) and then secure one more place with a binding band. (Heater
fixing plate assy)
* Approach the binding band head to the square hole (mark) of the heater fixing plate.
* The binding band head and cut tip must not protrude behind the heater fixing plate.
* Tighten the biding band not to loosen and cut the tip by approx. 5 mm or less.

3. Turn off the machine and heater and remove the glass retainer left, glass retainer right, table glass,
delivery cover, and relay path UN.

4. Mount five clamps.

5. Remove the two screws from the bottom of the scanner (see the figure below). (Do not use two M3x4S
tight screws and the removed screws.)

6. Connect the connector of the heater fixing plate assy (explained on Page 7) to the heater (see the figure
below) and secure it with two M3x4 round-tipped screws.(Tight two screws)

* Screw tightening torque: 1.0 to 1.2 N m
* Secure the connector securely.
* Insert the positioning dowel into the hole.

7. Secure the heater with the M4x6 bind machine screw.
* Screw tightening torque: 1.6 to 1.8 N m
* The heater pawl must be inserted into the hole.

8. Pass the heater harness through the five clamps and perform wire processing.
