Overview
1.1
Introduction
The Callisto Account Manager to enables administrators to manage users and report on prin
usage. All User's balances can be viewed and adjusted and a detailed view of the print histo
can be seen. Full details of each print job are available. A selection of reports are available,
allowing administrators to easily see summary or detailed information of user or printer
activity. The administrators also have the facility to track all the jobs printed, and cancelled

Definition of Terms
User – Defined as a person doing the printing, i.e. someone using Microsoft Word or
Excel who wants to print their document.

2.1
Managing User Accounts
Once the Callisto Account Manager has been launched, the initial screen displays a list of
all users in the Callisto accounting database, together with their current account balance,
as shown below.

Users can be located either by scrolling through the list or by typing in their name. As
letters are typed in they will be located in the list. For example, in the above screen shot,
typing Ma would locate the cursor on the user Mark.

Once a specific user has been selected, pressing ENTER or double clicking will display
detailed user information as shown in the User Details section of this help.

User Details

User Name
The windows login name for the user.

Current Balance
The users current balance. This is set when the user is initially added to the accounting
database. Every time a user prints a job the cost is deducted from their balance. It is
possible to restrict a user from printing to a specific device if they have insufficient
balance to cover the cost of printing a specific job.

Email Address
The users email address. This address is used when email notification is enabled.

Displays when the next Auto Update will take place

Update Type
Determines what type of update will take place. It can be one of the following options
from the drop down list :

This resets the balance to the specified amount, overwriting

How often the account should be updated. This can be one of the following options from
