Step 02:
An original is set in the original tray.
(EMPS output LOW)
Step 03:
Print SW ON.
(Preliminary feed): For the first original, dummy discharge is
performed.
Step 04:

Step 06:
Document exit sensor (DES) detects leading edge of
discharged original.
(DES output HIGH)
*A
Step 07:
Transport motor (DTM) and delivery motor (DEM) rpm
decrease.
Step 08:

(REGS output HIGH)
Step 09:
Original contacts resist rollers and stops.
Document feed motor (DFM) OFF.
Step 10:
Document feed motor (DFM) reverses direction.
(Resist rollers rotate.)
The leading edge of the original is taken up by the resist
rollers.
Step 11:
Original timing sensor (TIMS) detects leading edge of
original.
(TIMS output HIGH)
Step 12:
Document feed motor (DFM) OFF.
(The original is stopped with its leading edge taken up by
the resist rollers.)
*A
Step 13:
Document exit sensor (DES) detects trailing edge of
discharged original.
(DES output LOW)
