AR-RF3  MACHINE OPERATIONS  4 - 1
[4] MACHINE OPERATIONS
When original is detected in the original tray, EMPS turns ON (no-output level).
Original size is determined by DWVR, DLS1 and DLS2.
Two operation modes, single-side and duplex, are available.
For single-side, after the print SW is turned ON, DFM rotates in the forward direction and the original is transported. (DTM and DEM forward rotation
begins.)
REGS detects the leading edge of the fed original (REGS output level HIGH); the original contacts the resist rollers and stops.
The DFM reverses its rotation direction , the resist rollers rotate, and the document is transported.
The TIMS detects the leading edge of the original, and the DFM turns OFF.
After the DTM and DEM stop, the DTM rotates forward, and the transport belt moves. Or, the DFM reverses its direction of rotation, and the original is
sent to the transport section.
When the TIMS detects the trailing edge of the original, the DFM stops, after which the DTM (transport belt) also stops. After scanning is completed,
the DTM and DEM turn ON, and the original is discharged. After the DES detects the trailing edge of the original, the DTM and DEM turn OFF (stop).
