g) Browse to the location of the AR-C160 Postscript driver (*.inf file) and click on OK.

b) Right click the container and choose create. Scroll down and choose NDPS Manager,
then click OK.
c) Enter a name of your choice to the NDPS Manager Name, the Resident Server, and
Database Volume. Click on Create.

d) Once the NDPS Manager is created, it must be loaded. At the server console type at the
command line: NDPSM ‘THE NAME OF YOUR NDPS MANAGER.’ This will load the
NDPS manager. This must be running to be able to print.

e) This line should also be entered at the servers AUTOEXEC.NCF. This will allow the
NDPS Manager to load automatically. Otherwise step 4 would be required every time
you restart the Novell server.

4) Creating a Printer Agent.
a) Start Nwadmin32.exe and select a container - In this example: “SYSTEM SUPPORT”
b) Right click the container and choose create. Scroll down and choose NDPS Printer, then
click on OK.

c) Give the printer a name.
Note: This name can be any name, but a short, descriptive name is best for
identifying objects in a NDS tree. (Example shown = SharpColour)

d) Confirm that Create a New Printer Agent is chosen under the Printer Agent Source.
Click on the Create button.
e) Under NDPS Manager Name, click on the browse button and select the NDPS Manager
you created (in this example - NewManager). Also, make sure that Novell Printer
Gateway is selected under Gateway Types. Click on OK.

f) Select (Generic) PS and Novell Port Handler, then click on OK.
