Configuration of the ARP15 
 
On the Control Panel of the AR651 / 810 copier, press the Printer/Network  key. The Print or 
Print/Scan menu is displayed  
 
 
Press the On/Off menu on the Touch Screen and take the controller Offline.  Enter the Setting menu 
and press Admin. 
 
Enter the “Admin” password. 
 
 
Note: When you set-up the AR-P15 for the first time, an “Admin” password is not set.

Within the setting menu, click on  Protocol Setup and select NetWare. 
 
 
Press Enable for “Enable NDS” and enter the search root in the search root field. (The search root 
option allows you to set the root for the print queues).  
 
 
Note: 
 
When entering the root information, you must use “Type-Full” context to enable the AR-P15 to 
search for the print queue. 
 
 
 
Eg. The Type Full address of the SYSTEM SUPPORT.ALPHA context would be:- 
 
OU=SYSTEM SUPPORT.O=ALPHA 
 
 
OU = Organisational Unit 
 
O   = Organisation 
 
OU=system support.O=alpha

Press Next . Enter the NDS Tree name and NDS print server context. (Enter the Print Server 
password if it has been set). 
 
 
 
Note: 
 
 
When entering the Print Server information, you must use “Type-Full” context to enable 
 
the AR-P15 to “log on” to the NetWare server. 
 
 
 
Eg. The Type Full address of AR651_PS.SYSTEM SUPPORT.ALPHA would be:- 
CN=AR651_PS.OU=SYSTEM SUPPORT.O=ALPHA 
 
CN = Common Name 
 
OU = Organisational Unit 
 
O   = Organisation 
 
 
 
Press Set to store the changes and then reboot the AR-P15 controller.

Installation of the Printer Driver onto the Windows 2000 client computer 
 
 
Click on Start-Settings-Printers. Double click on the Add Printer icon. 
 
 
 
 
 
Click on Next.  Select Network Printer and click Next again.
