There have been problems of stack errors occurring caused by the rear edge of the copy
paper remaining on the paper delivery belt upper during copy paper delivery operations to
the face-down tray 3 while the printer is connected. As a measure to alleviate this problem,
the action described below has been carried out.

A change has been carried out in the ROM software of the FIN main PWB. A change has
also been carried out in the gear of the paper delivery reversion unit of the machine, and in

[Description of Change]
- The ON timing of the reversion pressure release solenoid has been changed to the 1-
bin type timing of the paper delivery UN of the machine, without respect to the
conditions of the paper delivery UN itself. (This action has been carried out as a
measure to prepare for the addition of the one-way gear to the paper delivery UN.)

Installing the printer board
1.Change the Fn1 ROM
2. Replace the connecting gear and remove the 2 transport springs
Before 5.6 N production perform the following procedure
After 7N production it is not required.
1. Remove the 2 transport springs which are attached to the exit area paper guide. And store
the 2 moved transport springs by hanging them on the exit unit front frame.
2. Replace the connecting gear at the rear
side of the exit unit as shown in the
illustration.
