Press OK when the Twain Driver installation is complete,.
To be able to perform Network Twain Scanning, the AR-C260M must first be switched to “PC Scan” mode by
pressing Image Send & PC Scan on the operation display.

Note: If the machine “double bleeps” when pressing PC Scan, the AR-C260M is either not connected to the
network (via the ARNC5J network card) or no valid IP address has been configured. Pull scan cannot
be performed when the machine is in Pre Heat mode.

The machine will then display the Scanner IP Address when PC Scan mode is activated (as shown below).
From within the supported Application (Example shown – Adobe Photoshop), select File, Import, Sharp MFP
Twain.
From the Selector Menu, click Add to search for ALL ARC260 devices currently on the Network.

Using the Drop Down box, select the required Scanner (AR-C260M) and click OK.
The selected scanner(s) should now be listed from the Selector Menu as shown. Highlight and click OK.
Once the Twain driver starts, the Main Screen and Preview windows will be displayed.
Using Standard Mode, the “End User” can select one of 4 presets for Image Type and Resolution. Also,
Twain Scanning can either be performed using the Platen Glass or Document Feeder.
For specific settings and preferences, select “Professional” or “Custom Settings”.
Example: From this menu, the user can select one of 7 pre-programmed resolutions from the drop down
menu (75,100,150,200,300,400,600dpi) or manually enter the desired resolution from 50 to
9600dpi.

Image Zoom, Image Area, Auto Brightness/Contrast, Gamma, and Colour Mode/Matching can all be
adjusted using the “Custom Settings” menu.
