Select the desired item to be adjusted.
●
Select “BRIGHTNESS”, “INTENSITY” or “CONTRAST” on the
touch panel.

Use the “-” and “+” keys to adjust the level of the
selected item.

Press the upper “OK” key.

Make all other desired copier selections and enter the
desired number of copies.

Press the COLOUR COPY START (
) key.
●
The BLACK COPY START (
) key can be pressed for
copying. The BRIGHTNESS/INTENSITY/CONTRAST setting,
however, will be ignored.
●
To cancel the BRIGHTNESS/INTENSITY/CONTRAST function,
select the BRIGHTNESS/INTENSITY/CONTRAST function
again and press the “CANCEL” key.

  Image editing functions
IMAGE EDITING FUNCTIONS
The single colour function is used to produce copies with a selected
single colour.
(Refer to the samples on page 1 to see the effect on copy images in
relation to the SINGLE COLOUR function.)

Place the originals on the document glass or in the
optional document feeder tray.

Press the SPECIAL MODES key.
●
The SPECIAL MODES screen will appear.

Press the “IMAGE EDIT” key on the touch panel.
●
The IMAGE EDIT menu will appear.
The image editing functions include the following items.
●
Single colour: Produces copies with a selected single colour.
●
Neg./pos. reverse: Copies original image in complementary colours.
●
Mirror image: A mirror image of the original is printed.
●
Photo repeat: Produces repeated images of a photo on a single sheet of copy paper.
●
A3 (11 x 17) full-bleed: Produces A3 (11" x 17") full image copies onto A3W (12" x 18") copy paper.
●
Multi-page enlargement: Enlarges an original image to a size larger than A3 (11" x 17") and prints divided images
onto multiple sheets of copy paper for assembly into large composite copy.
●
Extra size: Allows copying from an extra sized original or onto extra sized paper.
These functions are selected by pressing the “IMAGE EDIT” key on the SPECIAL MODES screen and pressing the
key of an individual function.

Select the desired colour.

The selected colour key will be highlighted.

IMAGE EDITING FUNCTIONS
NEG./POS.  REVERSE
The NEG./POS. REVERSE function is used to copy the original image
in complementary colours. If this function is selected in the black/white
mode, the black and white areas will be reversed.
(Refer to the samples on page 2 to see the effect on copy images in
relation to the NEG./POS. REVERSE.)
●
When this function is selected, neither the COLOUR ADJUSTMENTS
nor the SINGLE COLOUR functions can be selected.
