Select cover placement.
●
Select “FRONT”, “BACK” or “FRONT+BACK” on the touch
panel.

Indicate whether the front cover sheets are copied on or
not.
●
Select “YES” or “NO” on the touch panel. If “YES” is selected, the
first page of the document will be copied onto the front cover
sheet.
●
If “BACK” has been selected in step 5, this selection is not
needed.

Press the upper “OK” key.

Load the cover stock into the bypass tray, making sure
that the cover stock is the same size as the copy paper.

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
  Colour adjustments
The colour adjustments functions include the following functions.
●
RGB adjust: Strengthens or weakens one of three primary colours,
red (R), green (G), or blue (B).
●
Sharpness: Sharpens or softens image outlines.
●
Suppress background: Suppresses copying of lighter background
areas.
●
Brightness/intensity/contrast: These adjust the level of brightness,
intensity or contrast of images.
RGB ADJUST
This function can be used to strengthen or weaken the three primary
colours, red (R), green (G), or blue (B).
If a second primary colour is adjusted, the first adjustment will be
cancelled.
Only one primary colour can be adjusted at a time.
(Refer to the samples on page 5 to see the effect on copy images in
relation to the RGB ADJUST.)

Press the “RGB ADJUST” key on the touch panel.
●
The setting screen for RGB ADJUSTMENTS will appear.

Select a colour to be adjusted.
●
Select a colour from R (RED), G (GREEN), and B (BLUE).
●
Thumbnails representing the effect of adjustments will appear.
These are representations only and do not represent the actual
amount of change for every copied original.

Press the “+” to strengthen the selected colour or press
the “-” key to weaken the colour.
●
The level can be adjusted from -2 to 2 in five steps.

Press the upper “OK” key.

Make all other desired copier selections and enter the
desired number of copies.

Press the COLOUR COPY START (
) key.
●
The BLACK COPY START (
) key can be pressed for
copying. The RGB ADJUST setting, however, will be ignored.
●
To cancel the RGB ADJUST function, select the RGB ADJUST
function again and press the “CANCEL” key.
