Emergency Disk
The purpose of the Emergency Disk, is to enable a Backup of a Venta POS to be taken when the POS will
not boot. This option creates a boot disk that will automatically backup the Venta POS onto the floppy.

After the POS has booted from the floppy and the backup has been made, the floppy should be put into the

DOS to Windows Upgrade
To allow users of DOS applications to migrate to Windows an easy conversion tool is available.
The Utility will ONLY convert from DOS versions 4.6.
After selecting option 3 you will be asked if you want to continue to convert an application Yes or No. It is
only necessary to enter Y or N. There is no need to press enter.

After selecting Y you will be asked for the DOS folder name, you must enter the full path i.e.
C:\UP5700.BAK\TAVERN.
