It  can  be  necessary  to  enter  a  name  and  associate  this  name  to  a  table.  This 
allows the search of tables by customer name. 
 
Programming 

 
In order to realise this feature change the following setting within the S2001.INI 
file. 

 
:: (32) Allows Alpha Name Entry for a Table 
 

#  CUSTNAMES=1      (This  setting  will  automatically  display  the  Keyboard  when 
the table is first opened) 
 
For V4 the following new setting has been introduced 

 
If the # is removed from the line above the new feature will become active. 
 
As  well  as  this  setting  the  use  of  the  Multi  Function  key  (Function  84)is  also 

necessary. To use this key it is necessary to set-up macros that allow one touch 
operation. The uses are :- 
 

10F84 -  

Pick Table from List / Table Status 

11F84- 

Add Change Table Name 

12F84 - 

Show Table Name 

 
Operation 
 
When  the  feature  is  released  in  S2001.INI  and  a  table  is  opened,  the  alpha 

keyboard will be shown for the entry of the Customer Name. This table can then 
be  accessed  using  the  10F84  macro  which  will  show  all  tables  with  the 
associated name in alphabetical order. If the name requires changing the 11F84 

macro should be used.  
 
N.B If a table is split the split table will take the identity of the parent

The Mix and Match functionality has now been enhanced, A new 'one bucket 

free' action has been added to the Mix and Match ‘Actions’, this allows a 
promotion to be setup that will allow the contents of a bucket to be sold for free.  
 

 
When you define set a Mix and Match offer with the ‘Action’ set as ‘one bucket 
free’ the contents of this bucket count has a changed meaning. The count is not 

used as a part of the MM's trigger, but gives the maximum number of items that 
will be given away from that particular bucket.

Action: Give Bucket C 

 
After selling 4 starters and 4 mains, the first 4 desserts are free. 
 
Note. That the count of this bucket ‘C’ can also be less than or greater than the 

others, e.g. 
Bucket C: =1 Desserts, Then only one dessert is free
