At this point if a normal Server swipe card or 
contactless key is used the Time & Attendance 

screen will be displayed allowing the server to

At this point a server with manager authority 
can manually log in to the Time and 
Attendance system. Using his server number 

and password. 

 

 

If a server with manager authority is swiped or 
a contactless key is used the following option is

If ‘YES’ is selected the Sharp POS main menu is 
displayed. 

 

If ‘NO’ is selected the Time & Attendance 
screen will be displayed allowing the manager

There are 5 new settings in VPM – Configure – Till Configuration – Bill & Receipts 

1 / 2 – Print PLU/EAN 
 
No – turns off the feature an receipts will be as now 

PLU as barcode – this will print the PLU number as a barcode on the receipt 
underneath the existing PLU description. 
PLU as Text – this will print the PLU number on the receipt underneath the 

existing PLU description. 
EAN as Barcode – this will print the barcode number as a barcode on the receipt 
underneath the existing PLU description. 
EAN as Text - this will print the barcode number on the receipt under the 

existing PLU description. 
 
 

 
 
 
 

 
 
Using the VPM – Configure – Products – More – EAN on Receipt setting, it is also 

possible to disable an individual PLU from printing its PLU/EAN number on the 
receipt.  
 

In Sharp POS V4 the PLU field is also the same as the EAN field so only the ‘PLU 
as Text’ or ‘PLU as barcode’ would normally need to be used. 
 
On V4 if the EAN as Text or EAN as Barcode is set then the barcode number that 

has been attached to a product in VPM – Products – Barcodes will be printed

A requirement to be able to manually set the 86 item countdown stock of a 
product to zero has been realised, this allows products to be shown as not 
available, previously if a products 86 item countdown indicator was set as ‘0’ 
then the 86 item control was removed from this button.
