2. 
ENTERING TO SERVICE DIAG MODE
 
 
1)  Push the [MODE] key. 
2)  Entering to the service diagnostic mode. 
Input 99999999 → [TL/NS] 
 
3)  Select the DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAM 
4)  Input the PASSWORD. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
After entered the PASSWORD: “907.”, initial of DIAGNOSTIC 
menu is aroused. 
The “*”is displayed on the main display when input a key. 
In case of inputted PASSWORD is incorrect, return to the SRV 
mode.

Select the “SERVICE” diagnostic mode from the displayed 
menu. 
The item is selected by [↑] or [↓] key (the selected item is

SERVICE DIAG MODE
 
 
The following menu is displayed on main display when select 
“SERVICE” from DIAG MENU. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
In the displayed menu, the item is selected by [↑] or [↓] key 
(the selected item is highlighted), and then executed when 
pushed [TL/NS] key. 
 
3-1) KEY 
Push the keys except [Paper feed] and [TL/NS] key, lastly 
push the [TL/NS] key. 
During above process, pushed key-code SUM is accumulated 
in the machine and then compared with original check sum 
that set in the memory after pushed the [TL/NS] key.   
Push [CL] key 3 times, it is possible to restart the process from 
the beginning. 
After complete the displayed result and its printing, return to 
SERVICE DIAG MENU when push the [TL/NS] key again.   
<TEST results>   
KEY (Type of keyboard): NORMAL or FLAT (fixed by machine 
type) 
KEY CODE:   
S1 (SUM1): accumulation pushed key checksum. 
S2 (SUM2): original set checksum. 
OK or NG: Test result

3-2) SENSOR 
To display and print the sensor condition in printer. 
The condition of each sensors on printer are monitoring and 
displayed its results every 1 sec.

PPR1: Paper exiting condition on Printer-1 (Receipt side)   
(YES: Paper exiting, NO: No-paper) 
PPR2: Paper exiting condition on Printer-2 (Journal side) 
(YES: Paper exiting, NO: No-paper) 
RCPTSESNS: open/close condition of platen-arm of printer 
which attached the auto-cutter.   
 
 
  In case of Printer-1 and Printer-2: No-paper, Platen-arm is 
opening

3-3) SD CARD
 
To display and print the SD card detection and write-protect 
condition. 
Simultaneously, the value of SD card register CID is 
displayed. 
Test finish when pushed [TL/NS]  KEY.

The following test displays are repeated. 
           
 
The display patturn is changed to next one with buzzer short 
sound(250msec) when pushed [TL/NS] KEY. 
Lastly, all segements are turned on, with buzzer sound until 
pushed a key. 
In case of normal result, push the [TL/NS] KEY. The test 
mode is finished    with OK status, 
In case of there is a error in display or sound, push a key
