USE ONLY the included 9V/350mA AC adaptor KX-TCA1CE.

    

    

If the handset is not charged, you cannot make or answer calls.

    

    

The AC adaptor must remain connected at all times (It is normal for the adaptor to feel warm during use).

Plugging an optional headset into the handset allows hands-free phone conversations. The speakerphone is not available while
a headset is plugged into the handset. To switch to speakerphone, disconnect the headset.

Open the headset socket cover and plug the optional headset into the headset socket as shown.

 1. If the Base Unit and Handset are not linked with, first, follow the steps in Registering a Handset to a Base Unit (P.33).

 2. Follow the steps above in Base Unit (P.16). At step 3, enter

, and you will able to enter new Base Unit

PIN.
