6.24. Eraser LED section
1. Function
There are 16 LEDs as below circuit for cleaning the OPC surface after printing.
This purpose is to prevent occurrence of the ghost.
These LEDs turn on under printing only.

3. Circuit explanation
SoC(IC300) control these LEDs by ERLED_CTL port(K1). When the ERLED_CTL port becomes high, LEDs turn ON.
Q500_Ic current is about 29mA.(Current of each LED is about 14.5mA)
R520, R521, R529 and Q500 are for fix the current.

The codes listed below can be used to perform simple checks of some of the unit’s functions. When complaints are received
from customers, they provide an effective tool for identifying the locations and causes of malfunctions.

1. Press “852” then the SET key in the service mode.
2. As “PATNO. =” is displayed on the LCD, enter the test pattern No. and press
the SET key.
3. When “NO. = “is displayed on the LCD, enter the printing number and press the
SET key. (Press “00” for the infinite printing.)
4. “MODE=” is displayed on the LCD. Press “0” to start printing or press “1” to go
to the next screen. 
5. When “1” is pressed at MODE, “INTVL = “is displayed on the LCD. Enter the
printing interval (000~999 sec).
6. The printing repeats the designated number of times at the programmed print-
ing intervals.
