(4) When the staple cartridge is empty, stapling is disabled and "Add staples" is
displayed.

Mechanism
(5) When the stapler swing motor drives the stapler to the stapling position, but
the paper detecting sensor does not detect paper, the swing motor continues
to drive the stapler back to the home position.
(6) If the cam sensor does not return to it's home position with in a predetermined
time (ex. staple jam, too many copies, etc.) the stapler drive motor reverses
and an error display (E7-06) occurs.

3.2 Disassembly/Assembly
(1) Replacement of the stapler assembly

Loosen the screws. (x2)

Remove the screws. (x2)

Remove the rear cover.

Remove the staple cartridge.
NOTE: Remove any staples from the
stapler if they remain after the
cartridge is removed.

Remove the screws. (x2)

Recline the stapler unit forward.

Disconnect the swing motor harness
      connector.

Disconnect the two (2) stapler harness
connectors and remove the stapler
harnesses from the LWS.

Remove the belt mounting screw. (x1)

Remove the stapler.
