4.2.1.5.
Bell Signal Detection
During on-hook period, transmitting the bell signal to the AC loop in the CR series circuits detects the current by Photo Coupler, and
it determines the presence of  a bell signal.
CPU board software performs the operation for recognition and determination of a pattern of bell signals.
Bell loop path:
1. Ring

4.2.1.6.
End-Call Signal Detection
End call is detected by the photo coupler at part of making DC loop. PC900 (PC901) 4-pin is High level during a call.
On the other hand, at end-call, PC900(PC901) 4-pin changes from High to Low level.
PC100(PC901) 4-pin (BELLDET/REVDET) is connected to DSP GPIO, and CPU will monitor this signal via DSP and detects end
call.

4.2.1.7.
Polarity Reversal Detection
Configured by the photo couplers (PC900/901) that enable to detect each current in Tip 
 Ring, Ring  Tip direction.
PC901 is used in common as the bell detection photo coupler. Using software, it stores the current direction (the detected photo
coupler) at acquiring line and recognizes the action by changing of the current direction (the detected photo coupler changes).
When the current flows in the direction of Ring to Tip, PC900 4-pin (BELLDET) is Low and PC901 4-pin (REVDET) is High.

When the current direction (polarity) is reversed from Tip to Ring, PC900 4-pin (BELLDET) is High and PC901 4-pin (REVDET)
turns to Low level. It recognizes the action by changing of the current direction (the detected photo cpupler changes).

4.2.1.8.
2W-4W Conversion
This circuit converts 4W-voice signal inside PBX and 2W-voice signal on SLT line side. It is configured by Op-Amp in HIC and BN
(Balance Network) in CODEC. It determines the return loss of voice and the frequency characteristic, and it can match with sorts of
impedance by changing the programs of CODEC.

4.2.2.
SLC8 Block
SLC8 block is responsible for supporting up to 8 ports Standard Telephone Line interface with Caller ID funcion.
This circuit has line inteface front end and SLIC device which is controlled by CPU via SPI-BUS.
4.2.2.1.
PLD
A  PLD (Programable Logic device) is equipped on KX-HT82470 (SLC8 Option Card), and this device has several interfacing func-
tions as below.
4.2.2.2.
CODEC Function
Integrated SLIC device is installed on board. The analogue features such as BN, frequency characteristic, volume level, sidetone
are configured via SPI interface SCLK, DOUT, DIN, CS_SPI signals. Also, it converts A/D to D/A, and 4-line-analogue signal to
PCM code in G.711 format.
