(15) Remove the ASF Shaft (437).
(16) Remove the Pick Gear (434), ASF Roller (435) 

and Pick Roller (436).

(17) Remove the Pressure Plate Assembly (404).
(18) Remove Pad Holder (411).

When re-installing the Pad Holder, be careful
not to damage the Separation Pad Plate.

(1) Clean the Paper Pad (406) and Paper 

Separation Pad (417) with a soft cloth, 
saturated with isopropyl alcohol.

Disconnect the ILS PC Board Connector CN11 on 
the SC PC Board before proceeding to the next 
step.

(1) 4 Screws (19).
(2) Remove the Fuser Cover 2 Assembly (301).

(3) 1 Screw (19).
(4) Disconnect the ILS Harness (1001).
(5) Remove the ILS PC Board (705).

(6) Remove the Eject Roller (302).

(7) 6 Screws (19).
(8) Disconnect HEAT1 Harness (1009) and SNSE 

Harness (1007).
Note:

Note the Harness routing to the PC Board for 
re-installation purposes.

(9) Remove the Fuser Cover Assembly (305).

(10) 2 Screws (23).

(11) Remove the Fuser Lamp (314).

Do not Touch the glass portion of the Fuser
Lamp with bare hands. Grease from finger
prints will shorten its life cycle, use isopropyl
alcohol to clean finger prints.

When re-installing the Fuser Lamp, insert the end
of the Lamp with the arrow mark first.

(12) 2 Screws (19).
(13) Remove the Fuser Cover Assembly (305).

(14) 1 Screw (4B).
(15) Disconnect and remove the Thermistor 

Assembly (307).

(16) Lift the Paper Exit Actuator (306).
(17) 1 Screw (19).
(18) Remove the SNSE PC Board (704).
