Circuit explanation for WV-CP480
WV-CP480 consists of Sensor board, Main board, I/F board, ABF limiter board
and Power board.
WV-CP480 equips a new feature of ABF (Auto Back Focus) function. 
Video signal flow
The CCD output signal enters to IC1 (CCD process).    IC1 is composed of CCD
noise eliminator, AGC, Gamma correction and A/D converter.
The control signal (SDOUT) for IC1 will be supplied by CPU (IC101).
The output signal from IC1 is 12 bits parallel data (ADD0 – ADD11). It is supplied
to IC402 (DSP).    Y, C, SYNC and DAT1 are generated by IC402 and supplied to
the Video Out IC (IC702).    IC500 (DRAM) is a working memory for IC402.    The
video signal processing control signals for IC402 is supplied by CPU (SDOUT).
And it is converted to CH6,8,9,10,11 and 13 by IC300.
The composite video signal is made by IC702 and is output from pin28.
Motor Control
The CUP (IC101) generates a control signal for Motor Drive IC (IC600).
IC600 generates two kind of motor drive signal. One is for ABF motor, the other
one is for IR filter motor.
ABF
When the power is turned on, the ABF motor starts and the ABF mechanism
moves. Then VS1 (photo interrupter), which is located on ABF limiter board,
generates a pulse (photo Out) and is supplied to CPU.    Then CPU will find the
starting point of ABF mechanism using VS1.
<The purpose of ABF>
When the camera is changed from color mode to black/white mode (Day/Night
function, D/N), the IR filter is turned to off position. At this time the focus
becomes off. In order to compensate the out of focus, the CCD position is
automatically adjusted by ABF mechanism.
WV-CP480 ensures perfect focus for 24 hours by ABF function.
