5-8 Set [Sending Command] q and [Parameter 1] w on the
manual execution screen shown in Fig. 19. 
Sending Command:
Select [Range sensor adjust request].
Parameter 1:
Select [Range sensor offset adjust request].
5-9 Set the white paper shown in Fig. 20 300 mm away from
the iris camera (294 mm away from the front panel).

Press the [Execute] button r on the manual execution
screen shown in Fig. 19.
Check that [Resulte Response] is shown in the result
answer box y.
5-11 Change [Parameter 1] w on the manual execution
screen to [Range sensor tilt adjust].
5-12 Set the white paper shown in Fig. 20 600 mm away
from the iris camera (594 mm away from the front panel
surface).
5-13 Position Sensor Titlt Adjustment
Press the [Execute] button r on the manual execution
screen shown in Fig. 19.  Check that [Resulte Response]
is shown in the result answer box y.
5-14 Change [Parameter 1] w on the manual execution
screen to [Object range request], and confirm the value
of the measured range.
5-15 Set the white paper 400 mm away from the iris camera
(394 mm away from the front panel surface).
5-16 When the [Execute] button r on the manual execution
screen is pressed, the value of the measured range is
shown in the result answer box y.  If the measured
range is not 400 mm plus/minus 10 %, repeat the adjust-
ment steps 5-6 onward.
5-17 If the measured range is within the specified limits, set
the white paper shown in Fig. 20 300 mm away from the
iris camera (294 mm from the front panel surface).
5-18 When the [Execute] button r on the manual execution
screen is pressed, the value of the measured range is
shown in the result answer box y.  If the measured
range is not 300 mm plus/minus 10 %, repeat the adjust-
ment steps 5-6 onward.  If the measured range is within
the specified limits, the adjustment process is over.

Is the LAN cable connected?
Can access be made by the ping command in DOS mode?
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
No    :  In case of timeout, check the LAN connector, hub, etc. for
            connection.
Is communication established between the 
main board and the computer?
(Check it with camera status acquisition 
using the administration software.)
Can camera start data be acquired by Camera Set >> Find on the 
computer?
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
No    :  If the camera cannot be found, check the settings of the 
            management software and the initial settings.
Isn't the tamper detection switch operating?    
Was the front cover opened for more than 30 seconds while power is 
being switched on?
Yes   :  The setting data is erased 30 seconds or more after the
            temper detection, so repeat the initializing process.
No    :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
Are the Main Board connectors properly 
connected?
Remove the rear cover and check the Main Board connectors that they 
are properly connected. 
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
No    :  If any connector is found not properly connected, correct
            its connection.
Are the CLOCK, HD and VD signals correctly 
output from the Camera Relay Board 
Ass'y
?
Check each waveform of the Main Board (CN7).
  Are the following waveforms output?
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
No    :  If any waveform problem is found, check the camera. 
Is the camera properly initialized?
Are the initial settings done correctly by Environment Set >> Camera 
Initial Set on the computer?
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
No    :  Initialize the camera again.
Are the DIP switches for initializing in the 
normal operating position?
Is only DIP SW 1 on the front in the ON position?
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y.
No    :  Change only DIP SW 1 on the front to the ON position.
Is the eye position correct? 
(Refer to the Operating Instructions.)
In photographing, move the camera to adjust it to the proper eye 
position.
Are the spectacles on?
The spectacles were removed.
If enrollment is not done normally, replace the Main Board Ass'y.
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y
.
No    :  Check the camera
Yes   :  Replace the 
Main Board Ass'y
.
No    :  If any connector is found not properly connected, correct
            its connection.
Are the eyes wide open? 
 (Refer to the Operating Instructions.)
For enrollment, open the eyes to let the iris be easily read.
Are all the LEDs on?
During enrollment, are the infrared LEDs on the right and left of the 
camera blinking red?
Are the Main Board connectors properly 
connected?
Remove the rear cover and check the Main Board connectors that they 
are properly connected.
