2-9. Trouble Diagnosis Function
1. Trouble diagnosis function provides easy service when refrigerator is out of order during use.
2. When the refrigerator is out of order, the function does not carry on  even function control button is pressed but
recognition sound (bell sounds) shall be heard.
3. If troubles are solved, it returns to normal operation. (reset)
4. Trouble code is shown in the freezer temperature indicator LED in the refrigerator control display and all LEDs except
trouble code are off.

Note 2) If upper shelf refrigerator sensor is faulty, it is opened for 10 minutes and closed for 10 minutes.
2-10. Test Function
1. Test function is to check functions of PWB and products and to find faulty parts in the refrigerator.
2. Test switch is on the main PWB in the refrigerator. Test mode completes and returns to the normal conditions after two
hours in maximum. 
3. During the test mode, function control button is not detected but button recognition sounds (bell sounds) are heard.
4. Please unplug power cord and then plug into the wall outlet to get normal conditions after test mode is completed.
5. If abnormal sensor is detected during test mode, test mode is canceled  and trouble code is indicated.
6. Test mode does not work even test switch is pressed when it indicates trouble code.

* Lead Check Function: If both freezer temperature control button and power freeze button are pressed at the same time for
more than one second, all LEDs in control display are on and return to its previous normal conditions when buttons are
released.
* Freezer Fan RPM Variable Check: In case of freezer fan is in operation, when both freezer temperature control button and
power freeze button are pressed for more than one second at the same time, freezer fan RPM changes from high speed to
normal speed for thirty seconds. After thirty seconds, it returns to its original RPM. Freezer fan motor does not require
twenty seconds delay. 
2-11. Ice Dispenser and Water Dispenser
1. It is possible to get ice and water without opening the refrigerator door.
2. Ice or water will be dispensed when dispenser switch (rubber button) is pressed after selecting ice (cube or crushed) or
water. If ice is selected, duct door will open by duct door solenoid when dispenser press switch is pressed. Duct door
shall be closed five seconds after press switch is released.
3. Ice and water shall not be dispensed when refrigerator door is open.
4. Geared motor and solenoid (cube and water) shall be automatically off if there is no off signals in three minutes after
dispenser switch is pressed. Solenoid (duct door) shall stop five seconds after it is off. (to prevent coil cut due to solenoid
overheating)
5. Dispenser Lamp On/Off Functions
Dispenser lamp shall be on and off when dispenser press switch is pressed and released respectively. 
6. Water/Crushed Ice/Ice Cube selection functions
1) Water/Crushed Ice/Ice Cube shall be selected by user in the control display and indicated in the display by pressing
selection button.
2) When power is first on, crushed ice is automatically selected.
3) If crushed ice is selected and there is ice in the ice bank, geared motor shall operate to dispense crushed ice when
dispenser switch is pressed.
4) If Ice Cube is selected and there is ice in the ice bank, geared motor and ice solenoid shall operate to dispense 
Ice Cube when dispenser press switch is pressed.
7. Water Dispenser Functions
1) If user selects water in the control display, LED is indicated and selected.
2) As water dispenser is directly connected to the water tap, water shall be supplied by opening water solenoid valve
which is fixed at right side of machine room when user select water in the control display and press dispenser press
switch.
