2-1. Temperature Selection Function
* The temperature will fluctuate by

C depending on the load conditions in the refrigerator.
1. When power is first on or power is on after power cut, "Mid" (three steps) shall be automatically selected.
2. When temperature selection button in the freezer or refrigerator is continuously pressed, the lamp is on in the following
sequence:

2-2. Power Freeze
1. Power freeze is the function which increases the cooling speed of freezer by continuously operating compressor and
freezer fan. When power freeze button is pressed, the letter “POWER FREEZE” is light on and

2. Whenever selection switch is pressed in power freezer, selection/release (lamp on/off) changes in turn.
3. If power is on after power cut, power freeze is canceled.
4. Even though power freezer is selected, the set temperatures of freezer and refrigerator do not change.
5. If power freezer is selected, the set temperature of freezer and refrigerator can be changed.
6. If power freezer is selected, the refrigerator operates at its set temperature.
7. Power freezes shall be cancelled after compressor and freezer fan continuously operate for three hours.
8. If defrost starts during power freezer, the power freeze operates for the rest of time after defrost is complete when power
freeze operation time is less than 90 minutes. If power freeze operated for more than 90minutes, the power freeze shall
operate for two hours before it stops.
9. If power freeze is pressed during defrost, power freeze LED is on but power freeze operation starts seven minutes after
defrost is complete and it shall operate for three hours.
10. If power freeze is selected within seven minutes after compressor has stopped, the compressor (compressor delays
seven minutes) shall start after the balance of the delay time.
11. The fan motor in the freezer compartment rotates at very high speed during power freezer.
2-3. Variable Type Freezer Fan Control
1. Freezer fan motor has high and standard RPMs. 
2. High RPM is used when electricity is first on, for power freeze, and when refrigerator is overloaded. But standard RPM is
used for general purposes.
3. Fan motor stops operation when freezer, refrigerator, and home bar doors are open and vice versa.
2-4. Door Opening Warnings
1. Buzzer shall give warnings if freezer, refrigerator, or home bar door is open for more than one minute.
2. Buzzer shall give warnings three times in 0.5 second interval, then three times on/off in 0.5 second interval in every thirty
seconds.
3. Warnings are ceased when freezer, refrigerator and home bar doors are all closed.

2-6. Forced starting, forced defrost buzzer sound
1. If test button in main PWB is pressed, it will sound “beep”.
2. If forced starting is selected, warning cycle will be repeated three times.  Each cycle has on for 0.2 second and off for 1.8
seconds.
3. If forced defrost is selected, warning cycle will be repeated three times. Each cycle has on for 0.2 second, off for 0.2
second, on for 0.2 second and off for 1.4 seconds.
2-7. Defrost Function
1. Defrost starts when compressor operation time reaches between seven hours and seven hours and twenty minutes.
2. Defrost starts when compressor operation time reaches between four hours and four hours and twenty minutes when
power is first on or after a power cut.
3. Defrost shall stop when the defrost sensor temperature is more than 10
°
C. If the temperature of defrost sensor does not
reach to 10
°
C after two hours, faulty defrost will be displayed. 
4. If defrost sensor is faults (wire cut or short-circuit), defrost is not working.
2-8. Electric Equipment Progressive Operation
Compressor, defrost heater, cooling fan (high speed), cooling fan (standard), electromagnetic single motor damper, etc. start
in the following sequence in order to protect noise and parts damage when power is first applied and when test is complete.
