The following equipments are installed on conducted emission test to meet EN55013 and
EN55022 requirement and operating in a manner which tends to maximize its emission
characteristics in a normal application.

3.6. Operating Condition of EUT
3.6.1. Setup the EUT and simulators as shown in Section 3.2.
3.6.2. Turn on the power of all equipments.
3.6.3. Let the EUT work in test modes (BD Play/USB Play/BD Live/iPod Play/HDMI

In/COAXIAL IN/OPTICAL IN/Component IN+AUX IN/FM Mode) and test it.
3.6.4. BD Play: The EUT play BD signal disc(Color Bar video + 1kHz sound) and display
the video on monitor.
USB Play: The EUT play Color Bar video + 1kHz sound file from USB device and
display the video on monitor.
BD Live: The EUT play movie from Internet Via LAN cable and display the video on
monitor.
iPod Play: The EUT play Color Bar video + 1kHz sound file from iPod device and
display the video on monitor.
Component In + AUX In: The EUT play Color Bar video + 1kHz sound file from
DVD Player.
Coaxial In: The EUT play 1kHz sound file from DVD Player.
Optical In: The EUT play 1kHz sound file from DVD Player.
HDMI In: The EUT play Color Bar video + 1kHz sound file from DVD Player and
HDMI In: The EUT play Color Bar video + 1kHz sound file from DVD Player and
display the video on monitor.
FM Mode: The EUT received the RF signal of 88/98/108MHz and play 1kHz sound
from S.G..
3.7. Test Procedure
The EUT was placed on a non-metallic table, 80cm above the ground plane. The EUT
Power connected to the power mains through a line impedance stabilization network
(L.I.S.N. #1).The other peripheral devices power cord connected to the power mains
through a line impedance stabilization network (L.I.S.N.#3). This provided a 50ohm
coupling impedance for the tested equipments. Both sides of AC line are checked to find
out the maximum conducted emission levels according to the EN55013 and EN55022
regulations during conducted emission test.
The bandwidth of the test receiver (R&S Test Receiver ESHS10) is set at 10kHz.
The frequency range from 150kHz to 30MHz is checked. The test result are reported on
Section 3.8.

3.8. Power Line Conducted Emission Test Results

The EUT with the following test modes were tested and selected (mode 1 ~10) to read Q.P
values, all the test results are listed in next pages.
