Adjust “V-Size” and “H-Size” so that the picture size is
within the specification.
8.
Adjust the following items so as to attain the optimum
picture.
2. Data Setting
1)
Set PAL-Wide mode.
2)
Program the remote commander for operation in Service
Mode (See Page 23).
3)
Press 'VIDEO', 'VIDEO' ,'5', '6' on the commander to enter
Projector Engine.
4)
Press '7' + '0' (READ) buttons on the commander to read the
data from NVM. Then all the default data are restored.
Note : When replacement of printed circuit boards, devices or
CRTs, and major correction is necessary, press '5' + '0'
 (PJE INITIAL) buttons to initialize the data in the
Projector Engine mode.
Press '
 (MUTE)' + '0' buttons on the commander to
write the data.

Main Deflection Adjustment
The data values are same in all modes, and therefore the
adjustment for the PAL-Wide mode only is performed here.
1.
Place the caps on the red and blue lenses so that only the
green color is displayed.
2.
Enter the PAL SPCB signal and set the TV to PAL mode.
3.
Set the screen format to “Wide”.
4.
Program the remote commander for operation in Service
Mode and enter Service Menu(See Page 23).
5.
Select 'Geometry' from the service menu.
6.
Adjust “V-Position” and “H-Position” so that the picture is
displayed in the center of screen.

1. Marking
1)
At the 4 insides of the screen, locate the middle. Use a tape
measure to identify the middle.

Operation Method for Rough Adjustment
1)
Press 'VIDEO', 'VIDEO' ,'5', '6' on the commander to enter
Projector Engine.
2)
Press '1' or '4' button on the commander to select the item, and
press v, V, b, B key on the joystick to change the data.
3)
Select “GRN CENT” . When BLU or RED is displayed,
press “3” button on the commander to change the adjustment
color in the order of GRN 
c BLU c  RED.
4)
In the GRN, BLU, or RED mode, v, V keys on the joystick
can change the data in vertical direction, or b, B keys in
horizontal direction.
5)
Before returning to the Service menu, press “
 (MUTE)”
+“0” buttons on the commander to write the data.
(Omission of this operation causes the set data to be returned
to the data before adjustment)
6)
Press “MENU” button on the commander to return to the
Service menu.
