REAR COVER AND AC COVER REMOVAL
CAUTION:
Use caution when handling the Rear Cover. Refer to
“Rear Cover Caution” on page A-1
.
Do not damage the Power Board Connector and Power Supply Cord when removing the Rear Cover.
Refer to
“Removing the Power Cord from the Rear Cover” on page A-2
for complete instructions.
A Remove 15 screws from Rear Cover
B Remove 4 screws from Rear Cover
C Remove 1 screw and release clips from AC Cover to detach from Rear Cover
(Refer to
“Appendix A - Removing the Rear Cover” on page A-1.

D Remove 2 screws from Rear Cover
E Remove 1 screw from Terminal Area position
F Remove 7 screws from Rear Cover
G Gently lift up Rear Cover form bottom side to detach from Bezel

Lift up Switch Unit and disconnect 1 connector to detach from Bezel

Lift up AC Power Cord and disconnect 1 connector to detach from LCD Panel
C
Slide-out right side Speaker to detach from Bezel
D
Slide-out left side Speaker to detach from Bezel

Remove 2 screws to detach Woofer Speaker Box from LCD Panel
NOTE: Steps F-J are for KDL-60EX723 Only.

Remove 1 screw from Wireless LAN Card to detach from LCD Panel

G6/G8(POWER SUPPLY) BOARD AND
BATV (MAIN) BOARD REMOVAL
NOTES:
Refer to
“Handling the LVDS FFC Connector” on page 3
to disconnect the LVDS Connector.
The Insulation Sheet (G4), Insulation Sheet (G7) and Label (BAT-V Metal Side) are not included
with the LCD Panel and must be replaced when replacing the LCD Panel.
A Remove 2 screws and disconnect 4 connectors from G8 Board
B Remove 4 screws and disconnect 7 connectors from G6 Board
C Remove 5 screws from BATV Board
D Disconnect 5 connectors from BATV Board

“Handling the LVDS FFC Connector” on page 3
)
E Release 2 clips to detach Side Bracket from BATV Board
