Service adjustments to this model can be performed using the
supplied remote Commander RM-ED006.
3.
The following menu appears on the screen (See Pic.1).
Note :
After carrying out the service adjustments, to prevent the
customer accessing the ‘Service Menu’ switch the TV set OFF
and then ON.
1.
Turn on the power to the TV set and enter into the stand-by
mode.
2.
Press the following sequence of buttons on the Remote
Commander.

3-1. How to enter Service Mode

To write to memory press “Mute” on the commander and you
will see ‘Service’ change to ‘Write’ (See Pic.7).
9.
Then press ‘0’ on the commander and you will see ‘Write’
change from white or red (See Pic.8).
10. Finally to exit service mode, power off the TV set.

3-2. White Balance Adjustment
1.
Whilst in User Menu Mode press “Menu” on the commander
and select “Settings -> Picture” then select “Picture Mode ->
Custom” and also set “Backlight” to Max (See Pic.2).
2.
Next whilst still in user menu mode, using the up/down arrow
keys scroll to “Advanced Settings” (See Pic.3).
3.
Ensure that “Black Corrector”, “Adv. Contrast Enhancer”,
“Gamma” and “Clear White are set to Off (See Pic.4).
4.
Now enter the Service Mode (See 3-1 and Pic.1).
5.
Enter DE micro service mode by pressing “          ” the previous
channel button twice on the commander(See Pic.5).
6.
Select upper item by pressing “2” or “5” on the commander or
select lower item by pressing “1” or “4” on the commander. To
change the data press either “3” or “6” on the commander
(See Pic.6).
7.
Repeat step 6 for each of the following items:
a. 4 GAINR (Do not increase data value higher than 530)
b. 5 GAING (If GAING data value is 512 do not change)
c. 6 GAINB (Do not increase data value higher than 545)
d. 8 OFFR
e. 9 OFFG (Data value is fixed at 512)
f. 10 OFFB

3-3. Board Replacement
3-3-1. AE Board Replacement
When replacing the AE board no adjustment is necessary as the
replacement board provided will have its AD adjustment data values
centered. However, if the customer requests fine level tuning please
adjust accordingly (See 3-3-4 and 3-3-5).
3-3-3. TUE  Board  Replacement
When replacing the TUE board no adjustment is necessary although
this board can affect signal level. However, if the customer requests
fine level tuning please adjust accordingly (See 3-3-4).
3-3-2. B2 Board Replacement
When replacing the B2 board no adjustment is necessary as the
replacement board provided will have its AD adjustment data values
centered. However, if the customer requests fine level tuning please
adjust accordingly (See 3-3-4 and 3-3-5).
NOTE:
All remaining boards within the chassis do not require any adjust-
ment.
3-3-4. Fine Level Tuning - Analog RF input (PAL,
          SECAM) / Y-Level
1.
Enter the service mode (See 3-1 and Pic.1).
2.
Select the RF input you wish to tune (PAL or SECAM).
3.
Enter WE micro service mode by pressing “          ” the previous
 channel button on the commander (See Pic.9).
4.
Select “114 col_lum fccv_ccp.spf” by pressing “2” or “5” on
the commander and select “001 CVYL” by pressing “1” or
“4” on the commander (See Pic.10).
5.
The initial value should be “174” for RF-PAL and “171” for
RF-SECAM. Whilst viewing the RF picture tune the picture
level by pressing “3” or “6” on the commander.
6.
The specs for RF-PAL and RF-SECAM are +/-6 from their
initial values.
7.
Once tuning is complete you must save these values. To do this
press “Mute” on the commander and you will see “WRITE”
appear on the OSD (See Pic.11). Then press “0” on the
commander and you will see “WRITE OK” on the OSD
(See Pic.12).
8.
Finally power off the TV set.
3-3-5. Fine Level Tuning - CVBS input (PAL, SECAM)
           / Y-Level
1.
Enter the service mode (See 3-1 and Pic.1).
2.
Select the CVBS input you wish to tune (PAL or SECAM).
3.
Enter WE micro service mode by pressing “          ” the previous
channel button on the commander (See Pic.9).
4.
Select “114 col_lum fccv_ccp.spf” by pressing “2” or “5” on
the commander and select “001 CVYL” by pressing “1” or
“4” on the commander (See Pic.10).
5.
The initial value should be “166” for CVBS-PAL and “165” for
CVBS-SECAM. Whilst viewing the CVBS picture level change
the value by pressing “3” or “6” on the commander.
6.
The specs for CVBS-PAL and CVBS-SECAM are +/-6 from
their initial values.
7.
Once tuning is complete you must save these values. To do this
press “Mute” on the commander and you will see “WRITE”
appear on the OSD (See Pic.11). Then press “0” on the
commander and you will see “WRITE OK” on the OSD
(See Pic.12).
8.
Finally power off the TV set.
