2-9. HL4A Board Removal
The ‘HL4A’ board can then be removed by releasing the
2 clips circled.
To remove the ‘HL4A’ board first remove the ‘Rear Cover’
(See Sec 2-2-1 and 2-2-2), the ‘Stand Assy’ (See Sec 2-2-4)
and then the ‘Under Cover’ (See 2-2-5). The ‘Guide, Led’ can
then be removed by disconnecting the 1 connector indicated
and releasing the 1 clip circled.

2-10. HSN Board Removal
To remove the ‘HSN’ board disconnect the 1 connector
indicated and then release the 1 clip circled, the ‘HSN’ board
can then be gently eased away from the ‘Guide, IR’.

To remove the ‘IP3’ board disconnect all the connectors and
then remove the 4 screws circled and ease the board gently
away from the back of the TV set.
Note: Refer to page 4 - Hirose MDF61 connector.
The ‘HMS’ board can then be removed by releasing the
1 clip circled.
To remove the ‘HMS’ board first remove the ‘Rear Cover’
(See Sec 2-2-1 and 2-2-2), the ‘Stand Assy’ (See Sec 2-2-4)
and then the ‘Bar Under’. The ‘Bracket, Sensor’ can then be
removed by disconnecting the 1 connector indicated and
releasing the 2 clips circled.

Service adjustments to this model can be performed using the
supplied Remote Commander RM-ED016 or RM-ED016W.

The TVM menu appears on the screen (See Pic.1).
Note :
After carrying out the service adjustments, to prevent the
customer accessing the ‘Service Menu’ switch the TV set OFF
and then ON.
1.
Turn on the power to the TV set and enter into the stand-by
mode.
2.
Press the following sequence of buttons on the Remote
Commander.

1.
Press “2 / 5” on the remote commander to select (up / down)
category (See Pic.2).

Press “1 / 4” on the remote commander to select (up / down)
item (See Pic.2).

Press “3 / 6” on the remote commander to select (up / down)

3-3. Writing TVM Data
1.
Press “Mute” on the remote commander. The word “SERVICE”
changes to “WRITE” (See Pic.3).
