1   Lift Top Stay Clamp then push and slide Top Stay out from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-z40W4100/46W5100 Only)

2   Rotate VESA Brackets counter clockwise and remove from Front Cabinet Assembly 

3   Remove 1 screw from AC Inlet

4   Remove 1 screw from AC Inlet Bracket

5   Remove 3 screws from Bottom Bracket

1   Remove 1 screw from Tweeter (L)

2   Slide out both Loudspeakers from Front Cabinet Assembly 

3   Remove 1 screw from Tweeter (R)

Soft Cloth

1   Remove LVDS cable and holder from TCON and LCD panel

2   Remove 2 screws and release LCD panel from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-40W5100 Only)

 

Remove 4 screws and release LCD panel from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-46W5100 Only)

 

Remove 5 screws and release LCD panel from Front Cabinet Assembly (KDL-52W5100 Only)

3   Carefully peel off Insulating Sheets from LCD Panel 

4   Disconnect 1 connector from Illumination Module and remove from Front Cabinet Assembly

5   Disconnect 1 connector from HL1A Board and release from LED Guide on Front Cabinet Assembly

6   Disconnect 1 connector from HSN Board and release from LED Guide on Front Cabinet Assembly

7   Unhook LED Guide from Front Cabinet Assembly

 

NOTE: Insulating Sheets are not included with the LCD Panel unit.

CAUTION: When cleaning the TV, be sure to unplug the power cord to avoid any chance of electric shock.

 

Clean the cabinet of the TV with a dry soft cloth.

 

Wipe the LCD screen gently with a soft cloth.

→  Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth slightly moistened with a solution of mild soap and warm water.
→  If using a chemically pretreated cloth, please follow the instruction provided on the package.
→  Never use strong solvents such as a thinner, alcohol or benzine for cleaning. 
→  Periodic vacuuming of the ventilation openings is recommended to ensure to proper ventilation.
