SECTION 1:  DISASSEMBLY
1-1.  REAR COVER REMOVAL
1   Lift up the bottom of Switch Unit from Bezel and unhook from Bezel
2   Disconnect 1 connector from HW3 Board
3   Release Power Unit from Connector Cable
1   Remove 18 screws from Rear Cover
 (KDL-40VE5 
Only)
 
Remove 20 screws from Rear Cover 
 (KDL-46VE5 
Only)
 
Remove 20 screws from Rear Cover 
 (KDL-52VE5 
Only)
2   Remove 1 screw from Side Jack position
3   Remove 1 screw from Terminal position
4   Remove 2 screws from upper position of 
Rear Cover
5   Remove 2 screws from bottom of Rear Cover
 
NOTE: The Rear Cover is attached to the 
Bezel Assembly with three small tabs.
Use caution when removing the Rear Cover 
not to damage these tabs.

1   Unhook Side Jack from Main Bracket
2   Disconnect 5 connectors from BM3 Board
3   Remove 9 screws from BM3 Board
4   Disconnect 6 connectors from IP3N (Power) Board
5   Remove 6 screws from IP3N (Power) Board
