APPENDIX A - REMOVING THE REAR COVER
6. Lift up Rear Cover with AC Cover and AC Power Cord
attached.
NOTE: Hold AC Power Cord while lifting up Rear
Cover. Do not pull the AC Power Cord or damage the
connector on the Power Board.
7. Disconnect the AC Power Cord to detach from Power
Supply Board.
8. Release the clips on the inside of the rear cover to
detach the AC Cover.

1. Using the instructions provided in the
“Rear Cover and
AC Cover Removal” on page 54
, remove the screws from
the Rear Cover.
2. Remove 1 screw from AC Cover.
3. Using the illustration to locate the clips that secure the
Rear Cover to the Bezel, gently start to lift the Rear
Cover to detach it from the Bezel.
4. Gently start to lift the Rear Cover to detach it from the
Bezel.
5. Continue pulling the Rear Cover up from the Bezel one
section at a time.

6. Use care when lifting the Rear Cover from the Bezel by
the Terminal Area.
HINT: Support the Rear Cover by placing your hand
above the screw hole on the Rear Cover.
7. Lift up Rear Cover with AC Cover and AC Power Cord
attached.

connector on the Power Board.
8. Disconnect the AC Power Cord to detach from Power
Supply Board.
9. Release the clips on the inside of the rear cover to
detach the AC Cover.

APPENDIX B - ATTACHING THE REAR COVER
REATTACHING THE REAR COVER TO THE
BEZEL
The following instructions provide additional information for
reattaching the Rear Cover to the LCD Panel.
KDL-40EX620/40EX621 ONLY
1. Gently place the LCD Panel face down onto a soft
cloth.
2. Re-attach the Rear Cover.
3. Using the illustration below, ensure that the Rear Cover
is securely attached by aligning the slots on the Rear
Cover with the clips on the Bezel and then press the
Rear Cover onto the Bezel.
KDL-46EX620/46EX621 ONLY
1. Gently place the LCD Panel face down onto a soft
cloth.
2. Re-attach the Rear Cover.
3. Using the illustration below, ensure that the Rear Cover
is securely attached by aligning the slots on the Rear
Cover with the clips on the Bezel and then press the
Rear Cover onto the Bezel.
