A   Disconnect 1 connector from Switch Unit and lift up to remove from Bezel
B   Disconnect 4 connectors from G2HE (Power) Board (KDL-40EX505 Only)

 

Disconnect 6 connectors from GD2 (Power) Board (KDL-46EX505 Only)

C   Remove 4 screws from G2HE (Power) Board (KDL-40EX505 Only)

 

Remove 5 screws from GD2 (Power) Board (KDL-46EX505 Only)

D   Remove 2 screws from Bottom Frame to detach from Panel

E   Remove 2 screws from Bottom Frame to detach from Bezel

F   Disconnect 5 connectors from BAL Board

G   Remove 4 screws from BAL Board

H   Slide Side Jack Bracket to right-side of BAL Board to detach from position

I   Remove 1 screw from Panel to detach from Bezel (KDL-46EX505 Only)

J   Carefully Lift up Panel to remove from Bezel

K   Disconnect 1 connector from HLR Board, then release clips and lift up to remove from LED Guide

 

NOTE: The PWB Spacers are not included with the  

Boards and must be replaced when replacing the Boards.

A   Lift up Switch Unit and disconnect 1 connector to remove from Bezel
B   Disconnect 5 connectors from D1 Board (KDL-55EX505 Only)

C   Remove 2 screws from D1 Board (KDL-55EX505 Only)
D   Remove 2 Mini Card Spacers from D1 Board to detach from Panel (KDL-55EX505 Only)

E   Disconnect 5 connectors from G5E/G8S (Power) Boards

F   Remove 4 screws from G5E/G8S (Power) Boards

G   Remove screws from Bottom Frame to detach from LCD Panel

 

5 from KDL-55EX505 Only

 

6 from KDL-60EX505 Only

H   Remove 2 screws from Bottom Frame to detach from Bezel

I   Disconnect 5 connectors from BAL Board 

J   Remove 4 screws from BAL Board

K   Slide Side Jack Bracket to right-side of BAL Board to detach from position

L   Remove 2 screws from Main Bracket to detach from Bezel 

(KDL-60EX505 Only)

M   Remove 3 screws from Panel to detach from 

Bezel Assembly (KDL-60EX505 Only)

N   Carefully Lift up Panel to 

remove from Bezel Assembly

O   Disconnect 1 connector from 

HLR Board, then release clips  

and lift up to detach from  

position

 

NOTE: The Mini Card  

Spacers and PWB Spacers  

are not included with the  

Boards and must be  

replaced when replacing  

the Boards.  

The Main Bracket is not  

included with the Panel  

and must be reattached  

to the replacement Panel.

CAUTION: When cleaning the TV be sure to unplug the power cord to avoid any chance of electric shock.

Clean the cabinet of the TV with a dry soft cloth.
Wipe the LCD screen gently with a soft cloth.
•  Stubborn stains may be removed with a cloth slightly moistened with a solution of mild soap and warm water.
•  If using a chemically pretreated cloth, please follow the instruction provided on the package.
•  Never use strong solvents such as a thinner, alcohol or benzine for cleaning.
•  Periodic vacuuming of the ventilation openings is recommended to ensure to proper ventilation.
