REAR COVER AND AC COVER REMOVAL
CAUTION:
The Rear Cover for this model has some sharp edges. Refer to the information provided in
“Rear Cover Caution” on page A-1
when handling the Rear Cover.
Do not damage the Power Board Connector and Power Supply Cord when removing the
Rear Cover. Refer to
complete instructions.
A Remove screws from Rear Cover

B Remove screws from Rear Cover

C Remove 1 screw and release clips from AC Cover to detach from Rear Cover

SWITCH UNIT AND SPEAKERS REMOVAL
A Lift up Switch Unit and disconnect 1 connector to detach from Bezel
B Lift up AC Power Cord and disconnect 1 connector to detach from LCD Panel
C Remove 1 screw from right side Speaker (KDL-46EX725 Only)
D Slide-out right side Speaker to detach from Bezel
E Remove 1 screw from left side Speaker (KDL-46EX725 Only)
F Slide-out left side Speaker to detach from Bezel

NOTES:

to disconnect the LVDS Connector.
The Insulation Sheet (G10), Insulation Sheet (G4), Insulation Sheet (G7), Label (BAT-V Mold Side
and Label (BAT-V Metal Side) are not included with the LCD Panel and must be replaced when
replacing the LCD Panel.

A Remove 5 screws and disconnect 3 connectors from G10/G5 Boards
B Remove 5 screws from BATV Board
C Disconnect 5 connectors from BATV Board
