3-1.  Adjustment Required When Replacing Thermal
Printer Or Board
The head voltage needs to be adjusted when the “Thermal
Printer Assy” or “Main PWB Assy” is replaced.
Head Voltage Adjustment
4.  Use a ceramic screwdriver to turn the head voltage adjustment
variable resistor (VR1) to adjust the head voltage to the value you
have written down in the preparation step.
3.  Connect the plus lead of the digital voltmeter to the head voltage
measurement land (HDR) land and measure the head voltage.
2.  Connect the minus lead of the digital voltmeter to any point of the
three GND points as shown below.
6.  After the head voltage adjustment, disconnect the power cord from
the socket and remove the solder.
5.  Repeat steps 2. through 4. to adjust the head voltage to within a
tolerance of ± 0.1 V.
7.  After assembling the set, print and check the print results.
3. ADJUSTMENT
Adjustment Procedure:
1.  Connect the power cable to the main board, and after plugging the
AC adaptor (AC-S 2422) attached to the set into the DC IN 24V
terminal, insert the power cord into the power socket.
Preparation:
•  Write down the numerical value (head voltage) written on the label
of the HEAD section of the thermal printer.
    Example) 15.01
Note:
You can enter into the test mode and the output of the head voltage
turns on only during the short-circuit time.
Make sure to remove the solder to release the test mode after the
  adjustment.
•  Short circuit on two points of the land by soldering shown below to
enter into the test mode.
Note: When printing, please pay attention to the amount of space in the
back so as not to block the paper outlet behind the set.
Note: If the voltage is lowered, it may take some time for the voltage to
    change.
