4-4-2. Flange Back (f’F) Adjustment
1. Preparation
1)
Perform “4-4-1. Flange Back (f’F) Check” and confirm that the flange back (f’F) does not satisfy the specification in Table 4-4-1.
2)
Remove the interception.
2. Adjusting Method
1)
Set to “44.82mm” by rotating the knob of flange back tester.
2)
Set the focus to the infinity end.
3)
Loosen three screws fixing the helicoids male.
4)
Adjust the focus by moving up the helicoids male (clockwise) of the checking lens or moving it down (counterclockwise)
5)
Tighten three screws which are loosened in step 3).

6)
Perform “4-4-1. Flange Back (f’F) Check” and repeat steps 1) to 5) until the specification is satisfied.

In this section, the check/adjustment of focus-shift, which arises from the change of aperture, is described.

1. Preparation
1)
Perform “LENS GENERAL ADJUSTMENT GUIDE 5. Focus-shift (Aperture (Amount of Spherical Aberration))Check”.
2. Checking Method
1)
Set the focus to the infinity end.
2)
Check the focus-shift (aperture (Amount of spherical aberration)) and confirm that the following specification is satisfied.
Specification: -0.01 to +0.06
3)
According to the check result in step 2), perform “4-6-4.
SB Check/Write”, using the lens adjustment program.

4-6-1. Preparation
1.
Connect the inspecting lens to the equipment. (Refer to LENS GENERAL ADJUSTMENT GUIDE Section 1-2-2.)
2.
Start up the lens adjustment program (ActuatorCheckerSAM).
3.
Click [Set up] and perform the initial setting. (Refer to LENS GENERAL ADJUSTMENT GUIDE Section 1-3.)
