ULTRASONIC MOTOR HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
Equipment
• Height adjustment JIG (Ring)
• Height adjustment JIG (Cap)
• SSM Height ADJ harpoon JIG
• SSM Height adjustment measurement JIG
Adjusting Method
1.
Set the height adjustment JIG (ring) and height adjustment JIG (cap) on the pressure plate.
2.
Touch the SSM Height adjustment measurement JIG to the height adjustment JIG (cap) and set the dial to “0”.
Note:
Measure at the near center of height adjustment JIG (cap).

Remove the SSM Height ADJ harpoon JIG and height adjustment JIG (Cap, Ring).
4.
Set the height adjustment JIG (cap) on the pressure plate.
5.
Set the SSM Height ADJ harpoon JIG on the height adjustment JIG (cap).
Note:
The SSM Height ADJ Harpoon JIG, to become as follows weight is adjusted.
SSM Height ADJ Harpoon JIG = 1600g - Height adjustment JIG (Cap)
6.
Push down the SSM Height ADJ harpoon JIG and lift it up lightly. (To stabilize the height)
7.
Touch the SSM Height adjustment measurement JIG to the near center of height adjustment JIG (cap) and measure the height.
8.
Motor height adjustment value
: Confirm the numerals (lowermost 3 digits)
Example) In case of 076: 0.76mm

According to the values confirmed in steps 7 and 8, calculate the amount of motor SP adjustment washer, using the formula below.
Amount of motor adjustment washer (mm) = Motor height adjustment value -
The read amount of SSM Height adjustment measurement JIG (below decimal point only) + 0.3)
Note:
Round off the motor SP adjustment washer amount “0.0*”.
Example:
Motor height adjustment value
: 0.76
The read value of dial gauge (The read value of long pointer in simple): 0.41
0.65 = 0.76 - 0.41 + 0.3
The actual motor SP adjustment washer amount is 0.7mm.

1. Preparations
1)
Assemble the checking lens to the half completion condition.

Connected to equipment with checking lens. (Refer to Fig.5-1-26 of Section 5-1-3.)
3)
Start up of “ActuatorChecker”.
4)
Click [Set up], and perform the initial setting. (Refer to Section 5-1-4.)

2. Checking Method
1)
Click [START].

The Serial window appears. Input the lens serial number.
Note:
When [OK] is clicked without inputting the serial number, the date executed is displayed on the completion window of each
item.

Set the focus to the infinity position and press down the ENTER key.
