Grease (G-48): J-6082-669-A

1.  Apply grease (G-48) to the indicated portion of the selection switch assy.
2.  Set the slide switch of the F gear assy and knob of the selection switch assy to AF.

Grease (G-116): J-6082-628-A

1.  Apply grease (G-116) to the indicated portion of the zoom ring assy.
2.  Install the rear lens barrel assy with passing three flexible through the hole of the rear lens barrel assy.

  Do not damage the switch of the F gear assy when  installing the rear lens barrel assy.

3.  Tighten the rear lens barrel assy with four screws. Regarding the other one, refer to HELP 06.

Apply the grease (G-116) 
(all of circumferences)

Adhesive bond (B-10): J-6082-612-A
Grease (G-48): J-6082-669-A

1.  Apply grease (G-48) to all circumference of two inner sides of the zoom ring assy.
2.  Set the unit state to WIDE end.
3.  Move the unit slightly back from WIDE end and Install the zoom ring assy and zoom linkage lever.

  Attach the zoom linkage lever to the notch of the zoom ring assy.

4.  Tighten the zoom linkage lever with a screw and apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of a screw.

1.  Fold the tip of focus brush and cut off the notch.
2.  Apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the indicated portion (two locations) of the focus brush (surface).
3.  Install the focus brush and f brush cover, then fix them with two screws.

  The screw is short and the notch of the screw hole is easily destroyed.

4.  After adjusting the focus brush position, apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the head of screw (two locations).

1.  Set the unit state to WIDE (press the length groove barrel down into the 1st group assy side).
2.  Align the cut portion of the middle lens barrel assy and the installing portion of the zoom linkage lever, then install the middle 

lens barrel unit to the main unit.

  Insert the focus function lever (two locations) to the notch of the linear-drive barrel assy (two locations).

3. Tighten 

four 

screws.

2.  Make fold marks on the Z/ECD board and the relay board as instructed.
3.  Apply grease (G-62) to the indicated portion of the Z/ECD board and relay board (pattern side).

1.  Apply anti-diffusion agent (A-20) to the indicated portion of the focus ring assy (two locations).
2.  Apply grease (G-22) to the gear part of the focus ring assy.
3.  Apply grease (G-62) to the pattern side of the F/ECD board.
4.  Apply adhesive bond (B-40) to the end of the screws, then attach the focus coma to the focus function lever and fix them with 

screws.

5.  Attach the focus function lever and the focus coma to the focus ring assy and fix them with screws.

1.  Apply grease (G-36) to the indicated portion of the 1st lens slip barrel (six locations).
2.  Align the position of the focus stopper screw installation hole of the length groove barrel to the cut position of the 1st lens slip 

barrel, then install the 1st slip barrel to the unit.

3.  Tighten the zoom linkage lever with three screws and apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of screws in three locations.

1.  Remove the focus cam barrel from the linear-drive barrel assy.
2.  Align the position of the focus stopper screw installation hole and the cut position of the 2nd cam barrel, then install the lin-

ear-drive barrel assy (linear-drive barrel and the 2nd cam barrel) to the unit.

3.  Tighten the linear-drive barrel assy with three screws and apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of screws in three locations.

4.  Apply grease (G-36) to the projection side of the 2nd lens slip barrel (six locations).
5.  Align the projection of the 2nd Lens Slip Barrel to the U-shaped grooves of the 1st cam barrel, then install the 2nd lens slip 

barrel to the unit assy.

  Align the engraved mark of the 2nd lens slip barrel as instructed in the figure.

6.  Align the two levers of the focus cam barrel to the length groove barrel's opposite side of the focus stopper screw installation 

hole and install to the unit, then fix them with three screws.
