5-11-10. VCO Free Run Adjustment
Adjustment Method:
1) Select VCO Free Run from the FOR FACTOR MODE.
2) Connect frequency counter between TP508 (+) and TP502 (–).
3) Adjust so that the reading on the counter stands at the specified
value using the [INPUT/+] and [DIMMER/--] buttons.
Specified value: 15,734 
± 50 Hz
Adjustment location: Main board
5-11-11. V Pos Adjustment
Adjustment Method:
1) Input mono scope signal from the NTSC pattern generator.
2) Select V Pos from the FOR FACTORY MODE.
3) Observe the mono scope screen on the monitor and adjust so that
the screen is vertically symmetrical using the [INPUT/+]  and
[DIMMER/--] buttons.
5-11-12. H Pos Adjustment
Adjustment Method:
1) Input mono scope signal from the NTSC pattern generator.
2) Select H Pos from the FOR FACTORY MODE.
3) Observe the mono scope screen on the monitor and adjust so that
the screen is horizontally symmetrical using the [INPUT/+] and
[DIMMER/--] buttons.
5-12. FLICKER AND WHITE BALANCE
ADJUSTMENT
Conditions: TEST MODE
NTSC all white 30% and all white 50% signal inputs
DIMMER OFF
Aging to be kept for more than 30 minutes
5-12-1. Flicker Adjustment
Adjustment Method:
1) Set the LCD flicker checker near at the center of the LCD screen
(place where there is no OSD display).
2) Input NTSC all white 50% signal.
Adjust RV652 so as to obtain the specified value.
Specified value: 150 mV or less
Adjustment location: LCD screen
5-12-2. White Balance Adjustment
Adjustment Method:
1) Set the LCD flicker checker near at the center of the LCD screen
(place where there is no OSD display).
2) Input NTSC all white 30% signal.
3) Measure the LCD screen with a LCD color analyzer.
4) Using the [INPUT/+] and [DIMMER/--] buttons, adjust the values
of R-Sub BRT and B-Sub BRT in FACTORY MODE so that the
x and y values indicated on the analyzer are the specified values.
5) Input NTSC all white 50% signal.
6) Using the [INPUT/+] and [DIMMER/--] buttons, adjust the values
of R-Sub BRT and B-Sub BRT in FACTORY MODE so that the
x and y values indicated on the analyzer are the specified values.
7) Repeat 2) to 6) until the x and y values are the specified values.
Specified value: All white 30%: x = 0.278 
± 0.005
y = 0.283 
± 0.005
All white 50%: x = 0.280 
± 0.005
y = 0.285 
± 0.005
