HDMI signal is selected by HDMI INPUT SELECTOR (IC3503) and 

inputs to HDMI RECEIVER (IC3511). 

SPDIF signal is output from HDMI RECEIVER (IC3511 78pin) to 

DATA SELECTOR (IC2228) through BUFFER (IC3524). And, High Bit 
Rate audio signals output from HDMI RECEIVER (IC3511 81-84pin) to 
DATA SELECTOR (IC2213) through BUFFER (IC3524). These signals 
are sent to DSP1 (IC5002) finally.

Digital audio signal inputs to DSP1 (IC5002). DSP1 decodes all type of 

digital audio signal format which is supported by this model with S-RAM 
(IC5007) and ADDRESS LATCH (IC5009, IC5010). 

When DSP1 (IC5002) finishes decoding the audio signal format, the 

format name data is sent to DSP CONTROLLER (IC5208). The data is 
sent to SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC2513) and it is shown on LCD 
display. (Ex. PCM, DTS-ES, etc.)

When an audio related problem occurs, please check the signal type 

indicator. If it is shown on LCD display, the signal flow to DSP1 
(IC5002) is good.

Decoded audio signal in DSP1 (IC5002) is sent to DSP 2 (IC5202). 

DSP2 (IC5202) processes the sound data for several sound field effect 
with S-RAM (IC5207) with ADDRESS LATCH (IC5209, IC5210). After 
processing the audio data, DSP2 (IC5202) outputs the audio data to 
FIELD (PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAY (IC2003) with four lines of 
SDO1-4.

Only in speaker calibration operation with included MIC, the audio 

signal passes DSP1 (IC5002) through DATA SELECTOR (IC5013).
