In specification of this set, HDMI source signal cannot output to 

Composite or component terminal. This is written on page 41 on the 
instruction manual.

For HDMI output, the digital video signals input from VIDEO 

PROCESSOR 1 (IC3601) to D0-D15 and D16-D35 terminals in HDMI 
TRANSMITTER (IC3513, IC3514). The digital video signal encodes to 
HDMI format signal in HDMI TRANSMITTER and output to HDMI 
terminal. The HDMI output is selected by serial data of UC3V_SDA 
signal from VIDEO SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC3610 117pin). 

(NOTE) DIRECT resolution mode

In DIRECT resolution mode, input HDMI signal outputs to HDMI 

terminal without passing video conversion circuit. Then, video signal is 
sent from HDMI RECEIVER (IC3511) to HDMI TRANSMITTER 
(IC3513) through BUS SWITCH (IC3858, IC3859).

When GUI Menu on TV screen is required with key input, VIDEO 

SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC3610) starts to communicate with OSD 
CONTROLLER (IC3604) with DATA BUS through BUFFER (IC3620) 
and ADDRESS BUS through BUFFER (IC3619). S-RAM (IC3611) is 
used for processing of GUI Menu screen data.

The video data of GUI Menu is sent from R, G and B terminal (IC3604 

103-105 pin) to VIDEO PROCESSOR 1 (IC3601).

All optical digital signals from TV/MD/VIDEO1/SAT/TAPE/VIDEO2 

input to INPUT SELECTOR (IC2207). The signal selection is controlled 
by SYSTEM CONTROLLER (IC2513 67pin) through DATA DECODER 
(IC2210). Selected audio signal outputs to DIGITAL AUDIO 
INTERFACE RECEIVER (IC2208 2pin).

All COAXIAL digital signals input to DIGITAL AUDIO INTERFACE 

RECEIVER (IC2208) through WAVE SHAPER (IC2209).

DIGITAL AUDIO INTERFACE RECEIVER decodes SPDIF signal 

and output the audio data from RDATA terminal (IC2208 2pin) to DSP1 
(IC5002) through DATA SELECTER (IC2214, IC2228).
