Following are descriptions of the USB section.

(1) When
USB device is connected,
the connection is detected by
HUB_OC terminal of the SYSTEM CONTROLLER(IC500).
(2) When it is set to the USB
mode ,the
digital signal from USB device is
input to the DSP IC(IC101) via USB controller （IC700）.
(3) The DSP I
C decodes the digital signal from
USB device ,and converts
to an audio signal in the same way as a disk playback signal, and
inputs to the INPUT SELECTOR ELECTRICAL VOLUME（IC806）
via ASYNCHRONOUS SAMPlLRATE CONVERTER(IC4607),
AUDIO DSP(IC4605) and STEREO D/A CONVERTER (IC4602)
(Refer to 6-1-2(8)(9))
(4) The control signal from SYSTEM CONTROLLER is input to the
INPUT SELECTOR ELECTRICAL VOLUME, and controls in the
same way as a disc play signal, and outputs the signal to CLASS D
AMP. (Refer to 8-1(4))
(5) When the music data forwards to USB device, the audio signal
taken into inside of
DSP IC is output from USB_DM
terminal and
USB_DP
terminal to
USB controller （IC700）
,
and forwards from
USB_DN terminal to USB device
.

VBUS OVER CURRENT DETECT (IC702)
detects the over
current of
USB device
. When the over current is detected, the
power supply to the USB device is stopped.

ile form for supporting USB
device is MP3, WMA and AAC.
