<At the time of AVC connection>                                      No picture on the display (1)-2
                                             
No picture appears on LCD at the time of AVC connection.
                                             
Checklist:
1) Is “INPUT SOURCE” button 
 on the remote control set up correctly? 
• • • Set it as the external input of the favorite with the INPUT 
SOURCE button 
 of the remote control.
2) Is MENU-Picture-Backlight/Contrast/Brightness set to “MIN”? 
• • • Set it to an appropriate level.
3) Is the level of pin (12) (13) of IC6004 (TMDS-SW) at “H”? 
• • • These are serial communications lines (I2C) for the control. If it is “L”, check 
whether something pulls it to “L”.
4) IF-UNIT power supply input 
• • • Check whether BU5V is inputted into PD (P5801) 6/7pin, and UR15V is inputted into PE (P5802) 1/2pin.
5) LCD-CTL-UNIT power supply input 
• • • Check whether VCC (12V) is inputted into LC (P4802) 9/10pin.
(IF-UNIT)

IF-UNIT output part: Is the LVDS_ [TA1:TD1] 
± signal outputted 
to the pin (40-28) of LW connector (SC7901)? and Is the 
LVDS_[TA2:TD2] 
± signal outputted to the pin (26-14)?
(LCD-CTL-UNIT)                   
YES
At the FPC connector (SC7001) (39-79) pin of a LCD-CTL-UNIT 
output part   Is [P00:P61] 
± signal outputted? Check whether 
3.3V are supplied to 2/3 pin, VLS15.6V is supplied to 12/13 pin, 
and -6V/35V are supplied to 34/35 pin.

Check the soldering of connector and driver IC of the LCD-
PANEL board. Or exchange LCD.

At the pin (2-14) of LW connector (SC4801) of LCD-CTL-UNIT 
input part, Is LVDS_[RA1:RE1] 
± signal inputted?
Is LVDS_[RA2:RD2] 
± signal inputted into the pin (26-14)?
Is VCC (12V) inputted into the pin (9/10) of LC connector 
(P4802)?

Check the loose connection of LW harness, and disconnection.

[7] Backlight Troubleshooting 
Back light doesn't light.-1
Does not back light in which portion of the LCD screen light up? 
The whole back light does not light up. 
  
Is alternating voltage AC220V input to AC input (AC1/AC2/AC3) 
of SUB_POWER_UNIT1/2/3?
NO
Is the power supply input harness from AC-IN-UNIT correctly 
connected? Check the loose connection etc.

Is not F7601 4A disconnected?

Are 27V and 20V outputted to LA1/2/3?
 
NO
Replace poor SUB-POWER-UNIT.
Back light doesn't light.-2
Does not back light in which portion of the LCD screen light up? 
A part of back light doesn't light up.
One piece of a certain back light on a screen does not light up.
The back light of a certain one-row portion wide on a screen does 
not light up.
Does not back light which row of which line light up? (65 types: 
Seven line seven rows 52 types: Seven line seven rows)

Does not back light of which line light up? (65 types: 7 rows and 
52 types: Six rows)
Find a poor row and column number, and replace the LED board 
unit.
POWER-DISTRIBUTION-

Is RGB power supply 20V/27V supplied to the CN** connector of 
the poor row number?
((1)pin=20V, (5)/(6)pin=27V)

There is possibility of disconnection between the LED board 
units of a poor row number. Check internal wire connection.

Check the loose connection of the CN** connector of the poor 
row number of DISTRIBUTION-UNIT etc.
