CHAPTER 3. 
ADJUSTMENT
[1] ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE 
1. Adjustment method after PWB and/or IC replacement due to repair
The unit is set to the optimum at the time of shipment from the factory. If any value should become improper or any adjustment is necessary due to
the part replacement, make an adjustment according to the following procedure.
1. Prepare the following parts of writing software when you exchange IC7002 in the IF unit on the monitor side. 
NOTE: Caution when replacing ICs in the main unit (IC6001) 
The above ICs are EEPROMs storing the EDID data of HDMI and the sub microcomputer. 
To change applicable parts, it is necessary to write in the data of EDID.
It is possible to write from the microcomputer in the IF board, and execute "EDID WRITE" on the monitor step mode page, please with the fol-
lowing harness connected. 
2. After replacing the LCD panel or LCD control PWB, adjust the COMB-BIAS Adjustment.
Refer to the [4]-1-1 item.
3. After replacing the LCD panel or LCD control PWB by 65 type, also adjust the upper and lower brightness difference adjustment.
Refer to the [4]-1-2 item.
[2] Entering and exiting the adjustment process mode
1. Entering and exiting the adjustment process mode
1. Pull out the AC plug on the display side under operation from the outlet. 
2. While holding down the “VOL (+)” and “P(V)” keys on the set at once, Put the AC code. (It changes to the monitor inspection mode.)
3. While holding down the “VOL (–)” and “P(V)” keys on the set at once, It enters the monitor adjustment process mode.
Multiple lines of blue character string appearing on the screen indicate that the set is now in the adjustment Process mode. 
If you fail to enter the adjustment process mode (the display is the same as normal startup), retry the procedure. (Another procedure)
4. To exit the adjustment process mode after the adjustment is done, unplug the AC power cord to force off the power. (or please press the MAIN
POWER key and turn off a power supply).
(When the power is turned off with the remote controller, once unplug the AC power cord and plug it in again. In this case, wait 20 seconds or so
before plugging.)

CAUTION:  Use due care in handling the information described here lest the users should know how to enter the adjustment process mode. 
If the settings are tampered with in this mode, unrecoverable system damage may result.

W/B adjustment check. It is a BETA setup about the gamma value in each adjustment point. It is off 
again in the same key pressing.   *Other key input is invalid in the on condition. However, it shall be 
effective when other Point keys (CHP1-CHP6) are pressed.

It jumps to the pressed page. The cursor position after it moves selects the first line
